Expressed, it delivers a strong, rich-tasting red espresso, complete with a crema that is the pure essence of rooibos. In this concentrated expression, red espresso is richer in flavour, darker in colour and higher in antioxidants than regular rooibos tea.

How is rooibos espresso brewed?
In a standard espresso machine, using the same portafilter, grouphead and routine as coffee. Dose, tamp and pull, the shot comes out as a deep red liquid that builds into a red cappuccino with steamed milk. No special equipment.
Caffeine content?
Rooibos products are naturally caffeine-free. Matcha contains caffeine, roughly 30 to 70mg per gram of pure matcha, comparable to a cup of green tea but typically lower than a single shot of espresso.
