What’s the difference between a sauce and a syrup?
Syrups are water-based and thin, designed to dissolve into hot or cold drinks. Sauces are thicker, designed to hold their shape, for swirls inside cups, drizzles on top of cream, and dessert applications where a syrup would simply run off.
How many pumps in a 2L bottle?
Roughly 133 pumps at 15ml per pump. A standard mocha uses one pump, so one bottle covers around 130 drinks. At trade pricing of R299 to R346 excl VAT, that works out to R2.25 to R2.60 per pump.
Does it need refrigeration after opening?
No. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Refrigeration thickens the sauce and makes it harder to dispense. Use within 6 months of opening for best flavour.
