ABOUT OUR FRAPPEASE POWDER

The Frappease Powder is DaVinci Gourmet’s signature beverage base, formulated and developed to work in both hot and cold applications. The Frappease or “frappé” powder is a dairy based beverage powder that delivers a natural and creamy taste with a super smooth mouthfeel. 

WHAT IS A FRAPPÉ?

A “Frappé” refers to a drink that has been blended with ice, in French, the word “frappé” means iced and in the past referred to many forms of drinks that were blended with ice. The term is now associated with coffee and the classic coffee frappé is found in coffee houses, cafés and restaurants all over the world. Frappés do not necessarily need have coffee and can made in a variety of gourmet flavours.

 

 

Coffee Frappés

“FrappĂ©”, is a term now associated with coffee and the classic coffee frappĂ© is found in coffee houses, cafĂ©s and restaurants all over the world.

FrappĂ©s are growing in popularity and are being seen as a lighter and more versatile alternative to milkshakes. Coffee FrappĂ©s are a great way to serve an “iced coffee” that enhances the flavour of the coffee without being too sweet and allowing the coffee to be the hero of the drink.

  • Double Espresso
  • Milk

  • Pull double espresso into small espresso pitcher
  • Add espresso into blender
  • Add milk into blender to total 100ml of liquid

  • Add 1 x cup of ice
  • Blend for 45 seconds and serve
