Classic Flavoured Coffees

Flavoured coffee drinks are becoming increasingly popular, it’s an easy addition to a menu that comes at low cost. Enhance your coffee offering by simply adding a few classic flavoured syrups to achieve flavoured cappuccinos, lattes and more.

 

Tip:

To showcase on your menu that you offer flavoured coffees, simply add this to the bottom of your coffee menu:

  • Pull espresso into coffee cup
  • Add 10ml of Hazelnut Syrup
  • Steam and texture milk
  • Add milk with latte art

RECIPE

  • Pull espresso into coffee cup
  • Add 10ml of Vanilla Syrup
  • Steam and texture milk
  • Add milk with latte art

RECIPE

  • Steam and texture milk and pour into latte glass
  • Pull espresso shot into espresso shot pitcher
  • Add 10ml of Caramel Syrup
  • Balance espresso on top of milk by pouring slowly into latte glass
  • Add a dollop of froth

Iced Coffee is trending globally and there is a growing interest in iced and cold coffee drinks all year round in South Africa. There are many ways to serve an iced coffee and adding flavoured options is a great way to keep coffee sales consistent during the summer months and hotter times of the day.

  • 10ml DaVinci Gourmet Hazelnut Syrup
  • 30-60ml Espresso
  • 200ml Milk

RECIPE

  • Pull double espresso into small espresso pitcher
  • Add 10ml of Hazelnut Syrup into espresso
  • Fill your glass with ice
  • Add milk into iced glass
  • Pour espresso over milk and serve

  • 30-60ml Espresso

  • Add 15ml of Salted Caramel Sauce into espresso
  • Fill your glass with ice

Signature beverages, such as your signature iced coffees or lattes are a great way to add interesting and unique beverage options to your menu. Adding signature flavours at a slightly higher price point gives the consumer an option to try something a bit more indulgent, as a treat. The idea is to be able to offer something a little different that can be a talking point or a reason for patrons to return.

Coffee Frappés

A “Frappé” refers to a drink that has been blended with ice, the term is now associated with coffee and the classic coffee frappé is found in coffee houses, cafés and restaurants all over the world.

Frappés are growing in popularity and are being seen as a lighter and more versitle alternative to milkshakes. Coffee Frappés are a great way to serve an “iced coffee” that enhances the flavour of the coffee without being too sweet and allowing the coffee to be the hero of the drink.

  • Add 30g/ 1 scoop of Frappease powder
  • Add 1 x cup of ice
  • Blend for 45 seconds and serve
